We provide in-office anesthesia procedures for dental procedures. Many dental patients experience fear and anxiety about procedures like root canals, wisdom teeth removal, and even cavity fillings. However, our services can ensure safety and comfort during these procedures. Our anesthesia practice consists of board-certified anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists, and our primary goal is to ensure safety and comfort during your procedure. The SleepGuardian by Anesthesia Connections Dental team has experience caring for adult and pediatric patients in dental practices, and we look forward to delivering the highest standard of anesthetic management.

What does SleepGuardian by Anesthesia Connections provide?

Dental patients might require anesthesia for a variety of procedures. The type of anesthesia used might vary. SleepGuardian can provide all of the following:

  • Mild sedation – In this state, your anxieties are relieved, but you are totally conscious and able to respond throughout the procedure. This might be used in tandem with local anesthesia, and you will likely remember the procedure, though you will not feel pain.
  • Moderate sedation – This level of sedation takes you to a much more relaxed state, although you are still conscious and able to respond. However, you aren’t going to remember much of your experience.
  • Deep sedation or general anesthesia (GA) –  When we administer deep sedation or general anesthesia, you will fall into a deep sleep and be unconscious for the entire time. You will not remember the procedure upon waking and will not feel any pain.

We can also provide general anesthesia in treatments where we need to relieve pain or anxiety. In these cases, the patient is asleep while the dentist completes the necessary procedures.

How does SleepGuardian by Anesthesia Connections work with insurance?

SleepGuardian provides the anesthesia service for your dental procedure. When possible, SleepGuardian bills your health insurance carrier for the anesthesia service and the anesthesia service is a separate and distinct claim from any surgical claim issued to your health insurance carrier by the physician specialist. When the anesthesia service is not a covered benefit provided by your health insurance carrier, you are responsible for the anesthesia service balance. SleepGuardian does not accept dental insurance, but we do accept personal checks and Master or Visa card payment.
